Finally Made It!

Hi All!

Sorry it has been so long since I have updated. It was a busy, busy January for the Masons. We packed up our Condo in Chesapeake, VA and made the trek westward. On the way we had a few stops in Pensacola, FL and Phoenix, AZ to see family and friends. It was a blessing that we had the chance to see all of our family and friends in Florida before heading west as we don't know when we will have the opportunity to make it back again.

While in Florida, we were able to attend Alicia and Gray's beautiful wedding! It was a magical weekend and we are so excited we were able to be a part of it.

Jonathan headed out before me so I could spend extra time with friends and family. I was able to take a day trip to Mobile, AL with Amanda, JoEllen, and Jen for a girl's day and to set up a registry for JoEllen's little bundle of joy, Jackson, who will be making his appearance later this summer! Can't wait to put this kid in as much Ohio State gear as possible!

I was lucky my mom decided to make the trip with me. We had a good time driving through the great state of Texas. Mom loved the scenery whereas I thought it was a bit repetitive!

We stopped in Phoenix for a week to visit my brother and his family. We rode bikes, shopped, and ate as much Weinerschnitzel as possible! Brian and Jerry also had a good time staring at Jon's fish tanks!

I'm very lucky to have my big brother living so close to me. It will be great to make weekend trips to the desert and see family.

Aunt Diane and Uncle Paul, who also live in AZ left their Winter Village in tact so we could see it!

So, here we are! Living in the great state of California! We have already taken advantage of the State Park that is practically in our back yard. 

We look forward to exploring our new city and meeting new people. I've started looking for a new job, so cross your fingers I find something amazing!
